Saybrook Allows Buyers to Marry a Very Open Floorplan With One of Parkwood’s Traditional Exterior Elevations

Our (relatively) new and very open Asheville model has been so popular since we opened it a couple years ago that we wanted to come up with a more open floor plan that would work with Parkwood’s traditional, “center hall colonial” exterior elevations.  This Saybrook floorplan delivers just what we were hoping for:  it’s a great, open floorplan that will work with all of our Chesapeake and Chestertown elevations.

The Saybrook features a very open floor plan with great sight lines and functional flow.  Similar to the Asheville, walking in the front door will elicit oohs, aahs, and wows as visitors are immediately met with a nearly unobstructed view of almost the entire first floor.

Even more exciting for some will be the option to open up the family room to a rear deck with a sliding panel window wall, blurring the line between indoor and outdoor living space.  Recently, we’ve seen more and more of our buyers opt for this kind of seamless transition, taking advantage of Colorado’s fantastic weather for al fresco dining or simply to enjoy some fresh air.
