We are excited to announce that Parkwood Homes have joined the initial team of builders at Sterling Ranch, in southwest Denver. Parkwood has built nearly 1,000 homes in our 25 years, but until now we have only been a part of three communities–Kentlands and The Villages of Urbana in Maryland, and Stapleton in Denver. Kentlands and Stapleton were both named to The Urban Land Institute’s list of the world’s “Great Planned Communities,” and we have been able to be very selective in choosing where we want to build homes. So this is a BIG step for us.

Parkwood’s architecture at Sterling Ranch will continue take cues from the best of traditional American architecture, inspired by timeless homes in great cities and towns. At Sterling Ranch, our homes will draw upon the proud heritage of houses in early Denver neighborhoods like Wash Park, Country Club, and Bonnie Brae, as well as mining towns like Georgetown and Breckenridge.
Parkwood Homes plans to open a model home in Sterling Ranch this coming winter. We are working to finalize our plans for Sterling Ranch, but anticipate that our homes will be priced from the $600s to the $900s, with a wide range of styles and sizes to choose from. Providence Village will be the first of nine villages built in Sterling Ranch. It will feature 85 acres of open space, a K-8 school, a church, a civic center, a rec center, and a fiber optic network delivering 1GB of bandwidth to each home.
Residents of Sterling Ranch will enjoy 30 miles of hiking, biking, and horseback trails that connect to Chatfield and Roxborough State Parks. Nearly 40% of the community will be open space with natural wildlife corridors for deer and elk.
