Welcome to Sterling Ranch - New Homes in Denver
We are excited to announce that Parkwood Homes has joined the initial team of builders at Sterling Ranch, in southwest Denver. Parkwood has built nearly 1,000 homes in our 25 years, but until now we have only been a part of three communities–Kentlands and The Villages of Urbana in Maryland, and Stapleton in Denver. Kentlands and Stapleton were both named to The Urban Land Institute’s list of the world’s “Great Planned Communities,” and we have been very selective in choosing where we want to build homes. So this is a BIG step for us.
From the Sterling Ranch website: “Sterling Ranch will soon be home to a multitude of new residences with differing home types, spaciously sweeping across thousands of acres of natural, preserved environment. Its nine unique villages will radiate outward from an amenity-rich town center and grand civic gathering place. Pedestrian friendly planning and design focused on connectivity will offer 30 miles of trails, prolific open space, and access to two state parks and three regional parks. Nestled at the gateway to the Front Range, this remarkable rolling terrain boasts spectacular views of the mountains and southern foothills. Experience a mixed-use, master-planned community like no other – featuring authentic Colorado architecture and treasured surroundings, vitalized by mindful, sustainable resources and forward-thinking technologies.”

Parkwood’s architecture at Sterling Ranch will continue take cues from the best of traditional American architecture, inspired by timeless homes in great cities and towns. At Sterling Ranch, our homes will draw upon the proud heritage of houses in early Denver neighborhoods like Wash Park, Country Club, and Bonnie Brae, as well as mining towns like Georgetown and Breckenridge.
Providence Village will be the first of nine villages built in Sterling Ranch. It will feature 85 acres of open space, a K-8 school, a church, a civic center, a rec center, and a fiber optic network delivering 1 GB of bandwidth to each home. Residents of Sterling Ranch will enjoy 30 miles of hiking, biking, and horseback trails that connect to Chatfield and Roxborough State Parks. Nearly 40% of the community will be open space with natural wildlife corridors for deer and elk.
